thanks for your feedback mate, yeah training would be great, but unfortunately 
this isnt an option at the minute! due to restraints on budgets etc imposed by 
the government, i am quite comfortable navigatign around and sorting out 
restores/schedules etc etc, i also have some usefull scirpts, but just now i 
cant even log into the console its THAT slow, the reason i ask stan is because 
i need to reboot the storage nodes / libraries and i want to make sure theres 
no tapes in the drives etc when doing this! there is a monthly back up running 
and i want to can it but as i cant get into the console i need a script to do 
this! our EMC support isnt up to standards as it should although we have a 
pretty old version of netwroker in comparising to now so i dont think emc would 
entertain us until we upgraded as you have already suggested!
