I have a NW 7.4.5 server, running on Win 2003. This week I will be
upgrading it to 7.5.3. Next week, this server is scheduled to be replaced
- all of it's information will be migrated to a new server, with a new
name (the old server name has an underscore ("_") in it, and while Windows
doesn't mind that, it doesn't conform to our [current] server naming
practices).

So, how would I best go about doing this? I can't rename the current
server. So how can I restore all my media history to this new machine,
with a different name? (I only have a few clients of this Power Edition of
NW, and I know all their clientids, so re-creating the clients isn't a
problem. Keeping the last few years of history (for recovers) is the
problem),

I've seen the procedure for renaming a NW server, but that seems to
presuppose an existing installation. And this new server doesn't have
Networker installed yet. If I install Networker, it will be with the new
name of the server. So how can I "import" all the media history from the
old server name, to the new server name? (I realize that "import" is not
the proper term, but that's effectively what I need to do).

Thanks for any pointers
