Re: [Networker] NMO module saves sometimes hanging after update to NW 7.5.3

Hi.
We are seeing the same after we upgraded our NetWorker from 7.5.1 to 7.5.3 last
week. We have some groups with oracle clients hanging after all the clients
have successfully finished. I have then manually stopped the group. But even
after it's stopped as shown in NMC (yellow), it can't be started again and the
logs say it's already running. I thus have to restart the Networker service on
the NetWorker server.
We get a lot of these errors in daemon.raw, EMC is saying that it's because of
clients that have corrupted certificates and it needs to be recreated for all
clients with this error.

Another way to solve this according to EMC is to disable nsrauth and enable
oldauth.
We are still working on this. We might end up enabling the oldauth setting.

Subject: [Networker] NMO module saves sometimes hanging after update to NW 7.5.3
We have a problem with saves through the NMO module after upgrading from 7.5.1
to 7.5.3. Groups with these clients sometimes show 100% complete in NMC with no
savesets waiting to run or in progress.
In good old nw-admin you can see that there are pending index saves for some of
these clients but not all of them as some index saves were completed
successfully.
At other times the groups run without any errors.
The hanging clients differ and they have different Networker and NMO module
versions. Client OS versions are linux and Solaris.
