Dear Frank,

I have a script that checks a number of dirs for added directories and then
edits the saveset value to include all dirs
Problem was the maximum number of inputs in the saveset field (on 74 Windows it
was approx 2046 chars)

If interested will sent

met vriendelijke groeten / With kind regards

I was afraid I would not explain it well enough.

Specifically, I have a client that is a large fileserver. To keep the
backups within the 24 hour window, I have split the filesystems into two
client definitions with the filesystems divided between the two clients,
so I'm not using "ALL".

Now, the question is what do I do to catch the system admin that adds
another filesystem to this fileserver and forgets to tell me.

Do you have a script you run, or do you define a third client using
"ALL" as the saveset and create a directive to ignore all the
filesystems you do know about?

Thanks,
   Frank
