Greetings,

I'm in the process of writing a script to analyze the contents of our
libraries to determine available tape capacity.

I notice that there are two criteria where a volume becomes recyclable
as indicated by the NMC. One being that that recyclable flag is set for
the volume (forcefully recycled), and the other when the recyclable flag
is set for all of the save sets on a volume (save sets become expired).

Checking for the volume recyclable flag is simple enough, but is there
is relatively simple way to programmatically determine volumes that are
recyclable when the save sets on the volume have expired and the volume
recyclable flag has not been set?

Regards,

Jeff Morton
