OK, the one that did the trick is the
no_start_init_elem_sts

no_elem_status_check         Killed the load ports and we couldn't
load any tapes
no_init_elem_status_check   Didn't exist as an option

So, we are again in a happy place thanks to all of the collected
wisdom of this list and especially to wallace88 for getting me pointed
in the right direction.

No only if there was a list of what all these Jukebox options were,
that would be great ;-)
