It depends on your needs. Like you, I had to move up from 7.4.4 due to its 
impending EOL status. I also needed to upgrade to something that supports 
backing up Windows 2008 R2. That functionality isn't available in the 7.6 
stream yet, so I upgraded to 7.5.2 last week. It works fine. We run our 
NetWorker server on Red Hat Linux 4.5.
