Yes, I have successfully recovered a 2008 R2 system using NW 7.5.2
I have heard there are still some issues affecting 2008 SP2 (Not R2),
and afaik, 7.6 does not yet support 2008. (Hoping 7.6.2 does, and that
is GA soon).
What versions of NW and 2008 are you using ?
