Backup 101 needs to be considered first...

Total data x retention = how much data that 1 backup will use in its
retention period

Do this for every system, and you get an idea of how big the backup
target needs to be, add a few % for growth

if this isn't done, then your not fixing the issue, but delaying it for
a few days by deleting the oldest backups.

Apart from that...  use mminfo and identify the backups on the Disk
device in order of time, and then delete the oldest savesets

mminfo -av -c <clientname> -q pool=<diskpool> -ot

then using nsrmm delete the oldest savesets, be fully aware that this is
not reversible


if there is supposed to be enuff space, maybe the client retention and
browse periods were not set correctly.

Hello

We have networker 7.3.2 on linux suse

we make two backup:
- on cassete
- and disk (we have 3TB space on another computer)


Now we have problem with free space on disk (3TB).  We used 95% of free
space.

My questions is can I manual delete files (all files from march) ??

Or how can I do that true networker.
