[Networker] Strange failure message with NW 7.5.2
2010-04-02 09:09:01
I upgraded my server and storage nodes from NW 7.4.5 to 7.5.2 over the
weekend. And now I have one storage node that is giving me a strange
failure message when running a job. This never used to happen with 7.4.5;
it started with the upgrade to 7.5.2.
--- Unsuccessful Save Sets ---
* nt_san1:I:\ 75146:save: Saving files modified since Fri Mar 26 20:00:08
2010
The job never changed (it's a level 1 backup that runs Mon - Thu; a
different job does the full on Fri). The selection criteria is ALL. I have
a directive that SKIPs certain folders (which are backed up using a
different job). So this job is a "catch all", intended to backup any files
or folders that may have been added that are not on the directive.
The other weird thing is ... it says this for drive I:, but not for drive
H:
--- Successful Save Sets ---
* nt_san1:ALL savefs nt_san1: succeeded.
* nt_san1:X:\ 75146:save: Saving files modified since Fri Mar 26 20:00:07
2010
* nt_san1:X:\
nt_san1: X:\ level=1, 0 KB 00:00:03 0
files
* nt_san1:H:\ 75146:save: Saving files modified since Fri Mar 26 20:00:09
2010
* nt_san1:H:\
H:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-173682997-1056865346-324618207-10347\desktop.ini
* nt_san1:H:\
H:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-173682997-1056865346-324618207-10347\INFO2
* nt_san1:H:\ H:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-173682997-1056865346-324618207-10347\
* nt_san1:H:\ H:\RECYCLER\
* nt_san1:H:\ H:\
* nt_san1:H:\ /
* nt_san1:H:\
nt_san1: H:\ level=1, 3 KB 00:00:05 6
files
So I have no idea why it's failing for I and not H:
Here's the directive:
< "I:\clarity" >>
+skip: .
<< "I:\crm_implementation" >>
+skip: .
<< "H:\departments" >>
+skip: .
and so on ...
<< "X:\" >>
+skip: .
Anyone have any ideas what's up?
