Hi Chester - 

Have you tried having them clear the java/jar cache in control panel ->
Java -> General Settings -> Delete files, then reloading the web
start/web page to re-download the jar files to recreate the links/icons?

(I had to do that once or twice after upgrades in the past, but have not
used 7.6 though, so perhaps it's specific?) hmm.. 

Of course, it may or may not work - Java is such a wonky creation ....
but... I digress.. :\
