It might work but I would not rely on unsupported procedures. It may be
possible to do Solaris-2-linux cross recoveries. It is reasonable to think
that it could be possible albeit not supported. But not being supported you
are at your own risk. As I don't know anything about the internals of
NetWorker I would not venture to lose my data.
This is actually an old question and it would make an interesting RFE (which
may have been filed already).
