So, following my problems the other day, I now have my new fiber LTO-4
tape drives properly doing persisent binding in Windows 2003 (thanks,
Matt Huff). So now, instead of seeing "Tape0", "Tape1", etc under my
library, I see "Tape214783639", "Tape214783640", etc, as device
identifiers in my library.
I also still see Tape0, Tape1, etc. (I refer to entries seen under
"Devices" in NMC, not under the library). Can I delete these, since I now
am not using those device IDs? Will I break anything?
NW 7.4.5, Win2003.
Thanks
