Sid,
It appears to me that VSS savesets are always backed up at level "full". If
your pool is set up not to accept full backups then NetWorker is going to find
a different pool to back it up to. The default pool is set up to accept
anything that doesn't get picked up by some other pool first. So you have some
restriction on the pool that keeps it from accepting the VSS backups. I think
a level restriction is probably the most likely culprit.

Why do the VSS savesets and only the VSS savesets go to a default pool. All
save sets for the client are set to "All" and a daily-group is selected.
All files except VSS go to selected group and correct pool.
