Here's how to change the label that's reported to NetWorker from a
Quantum/Adic i2000. I assume the Adic 24 and Adic 500 would be similar:

On the library front panel, go into <View>/<library(Physical)>
Select <Setup>/<Partitions>
Select the partition to be used and <Modify>. 
Press <Next>
Set <Return Media Identifier> to <Disabled> (to return 6-character labels)
Press <Next> multiple times, followed by <Finish>.

I don't have an ADIC unit here that I can check, but IIRC when you go into
<Return Media Identifier> the default is "Suffix", meaning the library would
transmit AB1234L3. The other choices are "Prefix" (L3AB1234) and "Disabled"
(AB1234).

As Davina said, change one or the other jukebox and your problem should go away.
