Hi all,
In some time during the full backup , if any backup fails

Could any one tell me why it is happens like that and what is the
solution
for this...?
I suspect that when the group was defined, the checked by default
"Force incremental" box on the Advanced tab of the group's
Properties (in NMC) was left checked and it is forcing restarts to
be incrementals.
One could argue that the Field Help says that it is for groups that
are run more than once in a 24 hour period and a Re-start should not
count that way. However, I've discovered the same thing with one of
my restarts here recently.
In my experience, "Force incremental" should _not_ come into play for
group restarts - only group "new" starts (for want of a better term)
on the same day that a full backup has already been (a) scheduled and
(b) run for that group.
For a regular, actual restart, I don't think it should come into play.
Cheers,
Preston.
