Hi
I have just tried an migration for a suse11 to a Windows 2008. Both platforms
running x64.
I have the RES, MM, and Index up and running. I can browse from server and
client and get information about volumes. Everything seems to be working fine,
but I cannot read my tapes.
When I try to mount the tape I need, it tells me, that "No tape label found". I
have tried to inventory the same tape, but the result is the same!
If I shutdown the server and attach the tapelibrary to the linux server, it
works fine.
The scanner command does not help in this matter. I'm thinking it might have
some to do with blocksize but not sure. I have tried changing from default
handler to 64kb fixed blocksize on both Linux and Windows and then doing the
migration but I can still not read my tape.
Does anyone have any ideas???
