I think its much better then what you get out of the box.  It has way more 
reports then what nmc has.  You just need to configure it more.  Plus being 
HTML you can publish it just about anywhere. [And NMC's Java sucks.]

Im still trying to get this one configured, but I used the previous one 4.06 I 
think and liked it.  Id say grab it and try it out.

Is this better than the reports from legato nmc 7.4 ?
Why would someone use this if legato gives you  nmc already?

The new version of your favorite reporting freeware is ready for
immediate
download.

Some remarks :

1) it now requires Tobias Oetiker's RRDTOOL to be installed properly
(Windows kit is packaged with rrdtools) and accessible from PATH.
If not, it will die.

2) Running binaries under LINUX requires LANG variable to be unset.

3) New version is fully compatible with previously historized data.
So, if you install reporting in a new home, you will have to copy over
data/<datazone>/config and data/<datazone>/history from old location to
the
new one.
For Unix kits, if you just copy binaries over to the existing bin dir,
please also copy images directory unless you may experience some
missing
icons in generated reports or tree structures.
