I've had that happen. The client ID on the tape did not match the client 
ID on the physical client. So Networker refers to the unmatched ID as 
"~client-name-1".

You can still restore from the tape, tho - make a hosts entry of 
"~client-name-1" that points to a unused IP. In our case, I made a hosts 
file entry "~client-name-1" that pointed to 10.254.254.254 (not an IP 
address in use here). Then Networker is happy, since it only will deal 
with clients it can find in DNS or hosts file. Then just do your restore 
as a re-direct from "~client-name-1" to your current client.
