if you have already applied the VCL (virt client lic), then going into the
current client definition and ticking "virtual" and entering the ESX servers
name, will automatically free up the currently allocated Client connection lic
and begin to use the new VCL

I'm looking at making the leap from NetWorker 7.4.2 to NetWorker 7.5.1 so
that I can license my VMWare farms. But I need to juggle licenses around to
make this work under project budgeting.

If I have a few defunct clients that are still taking up client connections,
is it possible for me to just create a VMWare guest of the same name,
install NetWorker on it and run a simple adhoc backup to free up the client
connection its using and making it a virtual license?
