Matt,

You don't actually need the entire NetWorker DVD on the NetWorker server. All that is necessary is to copy the LGTO_METAFILE.platform file from the DVD to the NetWorker server and then have the DVD loaded on the Windows client.

A chapter in my NetWorker course covers all the details. I'll send you a PDF of the chapter in a separate email.

Has anyone ran into any issues with following the instructions on how to
add the software packages to the /nsr/repository directory. It asked me
to mount the cdrom in networker server and then it wanted me to put the
same DVD into a windows server just to verify the client type because my
networker server is Solaris10 and client wanting upgrade is a windows
server. Anyone had any of the same problems? Any advice would be most
appreciated. Thanks for your time.
