Hi,
here is the answers to your questions. I hope that can help you.
(1) I assume that the recover is on the original Tru64 client and not a
directed recovery. Please clarify this bit.
- Yes, the recover command it's on the original Tru64 client.

(2) the path used is different on both commands. Is that a mount point by any
chance?
- It's true but it's the same initial path. I tried anyway with the same path
/usr/users/postelab/msg/arch_CTTH/20090723/ but there are no differences.

(3) If I remember well, option -S requires root privileges. Can you provide
more details about the user and host used on each command?
- Exactly, the -S option requires root privileges. For both command I run it
from client Tru64 "apdmalias" (login: root) referring to server Windows
"msgarch".

(4) mminfo and nsrinfo should provide additional details about the saveset and
its contents that may help to answer your question (note: use nsavetime with
nsrinfo to avoid confusion with the date format). Also, show "cloneid" and
"volume" on the mminfo output to clarify this further.
- With mminfo I get the expected result but the nsrinfo command strangely
doesn't work! (it work correctly with other saveset...).
Below the command and the result runned on server:
nsrinfo -v -N "/usr/users/postelab/msg/arch_CTTH/" apdmalias
scanning client `apdmalias' for all savetimes from the backup namespace
0 objects found

Thank you very much!
