In regard to: [Networker] nsrck index restore partially failed, Claude...:
Hallo,
I have the followings issues , at the migration from an EBS Server to another :
It's often useful to know what software versions are involved. If you
provide that information, even in the cases where it may not be relevant
to the problem, it makes it easier for people to try help you.
1) at the nsrck -L7 execution in the target server to restore the client
indexes , i get :
nsrck: checking index for 'aaaa'
9343:nsrck: The file index for client 'aaaa' will be
recovered.9348:nsrck: The index recovery for 'aaaa'
failed.39078:nsrck: File index error: can't find index backups for
'aaaa' on server 'bbbb'
This means that the NetWorker server bbbb doesn't have any records in its
media database for any index savesets for the client aaaa. What document
did you follow when you moved everything from the old EBS server to the
new NetWorker server?
When you migrated your server from the EBS server to your new NetWorker
server, did you give the new NetWorker server the exact same name as your
old EBS server?
Also, on your new NetWorker server, can you find the index saveset listed
for the client in question, using mminfo?
mminfo -ot -q 'name=index:aaaa' -r 'ssid,savetime,client,volume'
If that doesn't work, try
mminfo -ot -av -r 'ssid, savetime, client, volume' | grep 'index:'
If you still have your old EBS server available, can you find the index
saveset using either of those methods?
