I'm looking for a command for retrieving the list of media into the CAP/Mail

It's to verify the barcode before depositing the cartridges.
I use NSR 7.5.1
For the moment, I just find a command for getting the number of cartridge
into the CAP.

While there's not a specific "nsrjb" style command for this, you can, if your library/OS supports it, use the "sjirdtag" utility, which does a lower level SCSI probe of the library.

To use sjirdtag you'd need to use the control port address (the a.b.c part of "[email protected]"); the control port can be shown either in the library resource in NMC when in diagnostic view, or via the output of the "inquire" command.

sjirdtag lists library content in 4 sections:

- Content of drives
- Content of slots
- Content of robot gripper
- Content of CAP

When barcodes are used, you'll get the barcodes identified.

Cheers,

Preston.
