Groups that are set to SKIP run, then stay running

We have Networker for Windows 7.4.3

We have two groups one goes to a live-daily pool and the other live-monthend 
pool, the issue is even though the schedule is set to skip every day during the 
month for the live-monthend group , the group runs and stays running and has to 
be manually stopped.

Has anyone come across this issue or know of any resolutions.
