Re: [Networker] Tape Error During Restore

It may be possible to recover data from a tape with a bad label but it
takes special equipment and software and may be time consuming and
costly to do. Others on the list know more about it than I do.

Subject: [Networker] Tape Error During Restore
Dave, I cleaned all 4 tape drives but still getting an error for that
particular volume.
Loading/unloading of any other tapes (in any drive) are working
perfectly fine.
Looks like the tap itself is bad.
Is it possible to recover data from a bad tape ?
Thanks
