Since finding out this info about allvmfs I don't really see the benefit of 
backing up systems using allvmfs.  If you have to restore the entire server 
from backup you can't.  So what I've done is changed the allvmfs to *FULL* so 
it grabs the image of the server as it is on esx.  It doesn't allow for file 
level restores, but you can always restore the image somewhere, logon to it, 
and pull the file off you want.  The other option may be to use the ALL save 
set so it backs up like a physical box,

Hello,
If i understood it correctly, Chester, mentioned that "ALLVMFS" does not 
capture "system state", so using native OS to dump it locally, before VM 
backup was an workaround, until the issue is addressed with VM backups.

Seeing as NetWorker licensing is now different and is, IMNSHO, much more 
sensible, why not just use NetWorker to backup the System State?
