Yes, I believe we are doing NDMP over the network.  Sorry if I didn't mention 
that previously.

Ok, as far as how I am trying to backups, here goes.  The physical tape I'm 
trying to restore from is from 1/26/2009.  I can see the Save Set I'm looking 
for under Indexes in Networker itself.  However, I am trying to do a Save Set 
Recovery from the Networker User program on the Networker server.  And since I 
only need 3 files from the Save Set I'm using the exclusion feature to single 
out those 3 files.

Previously the tape was marked as Recoverable, I did the following command 
nsrck -t 1/26/2009 -L7 server_2 and now it looks like the tape is browsable.
