What happens when it finishes a tape?  Does it log that fact?  Does it
say it's going to use the next tape and then do no motion, or does it
not refer to the next tape?

Anything else in the logs when it should be loading the next?  Since
nwrecover works, I'm guessing there's no problem on the server, but I
find it odd that there's a difference.
