Well, I guess I've finally found the way to get EMC to move... I posted
the same details I've provided to EMC over and over here and suddenly
this morning (before I had a chance to call EMC push) -- EMC emails me
that this is a known issue, LGTsc24106, and they'll get me a fix right
quick.

It's good to (possibly) finally have a fix.  It's sad that I had to "go
public" to get it.

   I got the patch today. This is a new build of nsrmmdbd.

Thanks for he info. Does i have a patch number we can use to ask for it?

My understanding is that the patch is a special build of nsrmmdbd for Solaris and I mentioned was LGTsc24106. The EMC service request number was 28002672. A week ago Glasshouse told me that EMC does not have yet a patched nsrmmdbd for Solaris (only for Windows) and so I was probably the first one to ask for this patch for Solaris.
