Thanks just trying the yum install did not work for me
"yum install lgtoclnt-7.4.3-1.i686"
It did get updates apparently but did not install the client.
That's because the syntax is wrong for installing an RPM. You use
"install" when you're installing from a repository (repo), local or remote.
"install" takes a package name (e.g. "lgtoclnt") and possibly other bits,
but it does not operate on a file name, which is what you gave it.
You use "localinstall" when you just want to install an RPM (file) that
you pass on the command line.
Even when you localinstall something, a repo will be contacted to search
for dependencies, so doing
yum localinstall lgtoclnt-7.4.3-1.i686
will install the package contained in that file after locating any
dependencies via configured repositories.
