We're having similar problem. Same Error message.

The RMAN backup completes and then gives this error:
ORA-27192: skgfcls: sbtclose2 returned error - failed to close file

There was a posting on this problem in april 2008, but no replies.

Strangly, we find nothing userful on powerlink on this issue.
