I am currently running 7.3.2.Build.364 on Solaris and would like to
upgrade to 7.3 SP4. According to the Powerlink site, I shouldn't have to
acquire new license codes to do this. Before I do, I just wanted to check
with others to make sure this was true.

You don't need new license codes. If you check your "Registration"
section in the GUI, you probably already have something like "Update/8"
listed (that's just a guess, the number might be different). That's the
license that allows you to go from less than 7.3.x to 7.3.x. Once you're at
7.3.x, you don't need a new license to be able to update to another
point release in the 7.3.x series.

I don't know what would happen if you actually deleted the Update/8
license, but I wouldn't recommend doing so. Once you're at 7.4.x and have
an Update/9 license (or 7.5.x, which requires a new Update license which
I'm assuming is Update/10), you can safely delete the Update/8, but I
wouldn't delete it before that time.

I guess this would also be a good time to see if anyone ran into any
database issues or other problem while performing this upgrade.

I can't help with that, as we skipped 7.3.x completely.
