Hello,
There are different approaches, however, i like to isolate the backup
server to group by itself & run it as late as possible, before the tapes
go out.
One common issue that i come across when the backup server belong to other
groups is that if the containing group never ran or did not finish\crashed
, it affected the bootstrap.

Daemon Log : Error

I am getting this error for one of the backup groups

01/13/09 23:00:03 nsrexecd: SYSTEM error: There is already a machine using
the name: "c999svss.c999dev.int". Either choose a different name for your
machine, or delete the "NSR peer information" entry for
"c999svss.c999dev.int" on the networker server

I checked the daemon.log and found that the backup job did finish
successfully after giving the same message many times.

What could be the probelm ?

I also another have question about bootstrap.

Backup group which has networker server as a client runs around 9:00 P.M
daily.

There are many other groups scheduled after 9:00 P.M.
Details for those backup groups/clients be inculded in next day's
bootstrap ?

Should I run the networker server group at last ? What is the best
practice ?

Thanks
