The simple answer is no. When you migrate from one backup platform to another,
if you have retention requirements, you need to maintain the old hardware,
software, tape libraries and support contracts for the old system for as long
as the requirements exist.

We are running multiple backup environment, thinking of having a unique backup
platform which is suppose to be Networker. I have to know whether Networker can
recover data previously backed up by Netbackup/Netvault/Arcserv?. Those old
backups needs to be retained for 6 years and wanted to know whether Networker
will be able to recover it.
