HI Sylvian.
First verify using mminfo that the savesets have actually worked properly
i.e.
mminfo -q "client=hostname" -r name,ssflags
the saveset flags should vF (for valid and finished). May have other
information depending on what your backup type is. Verify against the man
page for mminfo.
If they are valild, the next problem may be that the host is taking longer
than the inactivity timeout of the group (30 minutes by default). Can be
changed in the group properties/advanced tab.
Next question, is do you have a firewall or router between the networker
server/storage node and client. If so, the firewall/router may be
terminating the control connection of the backup job. The backup will still
work, but because the job controll connection has been terminated, NetWorker
does not get the job completion information from the client. You can either
fix this on the router/firewall or start networker with the system
enviornment variable set of NSR_KEEPALIVE_WAIT (found in the release notes p
139)
