Hello,

  Today I got the following information from GlassHouse:

Symptoms
Upgrade NetWorker to version 7.4.3
Client Owner Notification are not sent after upgrading to the NetWorker server to 7.4 SP3

Cause
With 7.4 SP3 changes were inadvertantly made which force the owner notification field to only recognize commands which begin with "nsr" and "save"

Resolution

Known issue: LGTsc20280 (work in progress) Contact EMC Technical Support for further details

Workaround:
Rename the application used to send email to include nsr/save
ie for nsrmail

1. In /usr/ucb perform: ln -s mail nsrmail
2. Edit the client instance for the affected clients, select the Globals (2 of 2) tab

I couldn't make it work yet, but it seems promising. On powerlink you can now find esg100808 which describes the same problem for Windows and smtpmail.

  I am still trying to figure this out.
