NW 7.4.2, Win2003
I have 2 clients that are AFTD storage nodes. They're part of a Windows
cluster. In a couple weeks, they're going to stop needing to be storage
nodes, and become just regular clients.
In order to do that, I need to:
- run NetWorker setup again on these 2 clients, and this time choose
"Client" and not "Storage Node"
- change the client config of these 2 clients, and clear the "Storage
Node" entries, in "Globals 2 of 2" in NMC (we don't make use of the "clone
storage nodes" and "recover storage nodes" entries)
Will that free up the 2 Storage Node licenses to be available to whatever
future machine will need them, or is there something that I need to do,
with the licensing? As these 2 nodes become regular clients, 2 different
clients will then become Storage Nodes, so I will need to be sure that
there are unassigned licenses available for the new Storage Nodes.
Thanks
