In regard to: [Networker] Changing Recoverable to Browsable without...:

Need to use nwrecover to restore a file from a saveset that is marked
"recoverable". Yes, I could do with scanner or recover, but have not
the time to learn how to use those commands to recover just one file.

I'm sure you realize this, but you're better off learning the procedure
when you have to do it for one file than you are when you have to do it
for an entire system (or enterprise).

Anyone know how to change the status of a save set from recoverable to
browsable without having to clone the save set?

If you still have the index for the saveset, you can use nsrck -L7 and
a time specification to load the index, which will make the saveset
browseable again.

If you don't know if you still have the index, then just try doing this

        nsrck -L7 -t MM/DD/YY your_client_name_here

where DD is the day *after* the day of the saveset.

If that works, your saveset should be browseable. If it doesn't, you're
going to have to learn something new. ;-)
