Server-based. Thanks for the tip; I'll see if it works in tonight's backups.

Is it a server based directive (stored in GUI) or a local directive
(stored in nsr.dir file on the client side) ?

I think you need to do it like this, when a rule matches others are not
processed

<< / >>
+skip: pagefile.sys
+skip: temp
+skip: *.ldf
+skip: *.mdf
+skip: *.ndf
+aes: *

Objet : [Networker] windows directive help

I crafted the following directive intending to encrypt all files on a
windows system but skip SQL server files. While files do appear to be
encrypted, the skip portion doesn't work:

<< / >>

+aes:*

+skip: pagefile.sys

+skip: temp

+skip: *.ldf

+skip: *.mdf

+skip: *.ndf

Does this mean I need to specify windows drives (C:\, D:\, etc)? Or am I
doing something else wrong?
