Re: [Networker] Restarting a failed group....

Our fulls are frequently still running after midnight. Most of them are
scheduled as:
incr incr incr incr incr full incr
The problem we have is that if the Full fails and we restart after
midnight the restart runs as an incremental since it's now on an incr
day. Will changing this setting have any impact on this issue?
Thanks,

Vince / Paul,
On our Networker server ( 7.3.4 ) we set the Configuration / Groups /
Properties / Advanced / Restart Window to 23 hours. This allows a
restart
of failed clients within a 23 hour window without restarting the whole
group.
Hope this helps,
Keith

Re: [Networker] Restarting a failed group....
Paul,
It's no better in v7.4.2 (v7.4 SP2), I tried to restart a failed group
this week because one client had failed and it re-ran backups for
*every* client in the group. I ended up running a command-line savegrp.
Best regards,
Vince
