Hello,
Backing up the client where the DFS is pointing to ( Source of the data)
is how we have done it.

MS DFW
We will be implementing our first Microsoft Distributed File System
(DFS) this coming weekend. As far as I can tell there are no
implications for backing up with NetWorker. Just backup the physical
disks behind the DFS virtualization. Anyone care to comment?
BTW, we're running NetWorker 7.2.2 on Windows 2K.
