Hello,
What type of  client is this occurring on ( Windows-Notes servers for 
example), does it happen repeatedly on the same client ?
do you see any open file errors? have you updated the client version along 
with server ? what is your server backup actively load at the time of 
error including network, cpu and memory.
Try backing up the client that is throwing this error manually with extra 
debugging on or run a probe.
Capture any errors and report.

Intermittent Error "7164: Save Shutdown failed" v7.4.2.sp2 - Windows






Since my conversion to v7.4.2sp2 on Windows I have received the following 
error intermittently on different clients and different save sets.  The 
only commonality is that it only occurs during a specific group.

Has anyone else seen this error?
