Is it possible to migrate my old media db and indexes to a new networker 
installation? The reason for this is because the client wants to retain the 
ability to restore from old yearly backups and then also backup the clients 
onto the new environment.

Current environment is running v7.3 and new environment with different server 
names etc. is running 7.4.2. I am assuming that to even consider this I would 
need to first upgrade the new environment to the new to make the db's atleast 
the same versions?

The old environment backs up to IBM tapes whereas new environment first backs 
up to CDL then clones to IBM tapes but in both cases it's the same IBM Silo / 
library.
