The forward slash is your friend. Hers' a little snip from one of my
directives.

<< / >>
 +skip: pagefile.sys
 +skip: *.mdf *.MDF
 +skip: *.ldf *.LDF
 +skip: *.ndf *.NDF

Subject: [Networker] Directive question

NW 7.4.2, Win2003.

I have this directive:

<< "C:\" >>
+skip: *.MDF
+skip: *.LDF
+skip: *.mdf
+skip: *.ldf
+skip: *.LOK
+skip: *.lok
+skip: *.tmp
+skip: *.lck
+skip: usrclass.*
+skip: ntuser.*

I have a need to skip the same filetypes, but on different drives (i.e., I
want to skip *.ldf, regardless of whether it's on drive C:, D:, G:, etc).
Can I do that by specifiying

<< ""C:\, D:\, G:\" >>

Or would I need to replicate the above lines, once for each drive? That
doesn't seem right. However, the Administrator Guide doesn't say, nor show
an example of skipping the same filetype across drives on Windows (or if
it does, I'm not grokking it).

Thanks
