I understand that things in terms of sessions change in intervals of time 
(snapshots) and in fact they may also be hung as noted.

I just want a quick test that I can run multiple times to get a general 
snapshot of the current ACTIVE sessions that are supposedly writing to tape 
which I can compare against the actual tapes mounted and writing.

On several occasions we have had the GUI reporting incorrect information.
