Thanks for the quick responses to these questions. I now have this VCB backup 
working successfully.
   
  What is the quickest way to restore a full VM? I have successfully restored a 
full VM by restoring the fullVM backup to the backup server and then used 
VMware Converter to import the VM into the ESX server.
   
  It would be quicker if I could restore the fullVM directly to the ESX server 
rather than the 2 step process of restore to backup server followed by Vmware 
converter.
