Is BESR capable of replacing drivers on the fly? We mostly use IBM system x, and the old machines' RAID is usually different than the newer boxes we are trying to recover to, resulting in bluescreens and crash loops on the Windows side.

What you probably want is something like Symantec BackupExec System Recovery or Acronis True Image. I leverage BESR heavily and have moved completely away from Networker for system state backup. The BESR system recovery disk is a Vista PE environment that is fully customizable.
