Hello,
I have seen this error, questions, did you go directly from 7.0 to 7.2.4,
usually, you should do incremental updates, verify thing are working
before going to the next release. Was the Filer rebooted after the updates
?
Any way, Make sure your Tape reservations, definitions are intact,
(sysconfig -t), are you sharing any drivers on the same clustered filer ?
how big is the save set ( as far as i know, you will not be able to
recover aborted savesets).
Turn on debugging on the Networker service ( -D 9 on Windows) and on the
filer ndmp debug 70, watch for errors.
Check FC logs if any and it is possible that you may have some Tape Drive
issues.
HTH
Thanks

[Networker] --- Unsuccessful Save Sets --- after upgrading to ONTAP
7.2.4   Networker 7.3.3/Solaris 10

Hi all I have a strange issue after upgrading a NetApp filer to 7.2.4
from 7.0.X. [It was upgraded as recommended by NetApp to address a
core dump issue] Our other filer is doing just fine at old ONTAP.

It backs up fine then I get the Below:

* XXXXXXXXX:/vol/ XXXXXXXXX nsrndmp_save: NDMP Service Log: DUMP:
723722246 KB

* XXXXXXXXX:/vol/ XXXXXXXXX

* XXXXXXXXX:/vol/ XXXXXXXXX nsrdsa_save: Error : readlen = -1 (avail =
51344)

* XXXXXXXXX:/vol/ XXXXXXXXX read: Connection reset by peer

* XXXXXXXXX:/vol/ XXXXXXXXX nsrdsa_save: Save failed

* XXXXXXXXX:/vol/ XXXXXXXXX / XXXXXXXXX nsrndmp_save: Data server
halted: Aborted by client

* XXXXXXXXX:/vol/ XXXXXXXXX / XXXXXXXXX nsrndmp_save: XXXXXXXXX: /vol/
XXXXXXXXX level=1, 723 GB 09:12:56      0

The Data gets written then fails [aborts]

I have a call to EMC and they say 7.3.3 is compatible with that version
of ONTAP. There is also a call into NetApp to see if there is some bug
in that version.

Anyone see this before? Plus being that I have never tried to recover
aborted data assuming is mostly intact, can it be done through
Networker?

I've searched the archives without many hits on this

Thanks
