Re: [Networker] Top-posting and quoting

Geez,
It's something I never really thought about but now that I have I don't
really care that much. If the subject of the message is of interest to
me I'll probably wade through it regardless of the format, if it isn't I
just delete it after I figure out it isn't of interest.
I guess my style is if the response requires multiple responses to
multiple points then I intersperse the comments, otherwise I respond
like this. I suppose it's partially because I use Outlook and that's
the default for me but at home I use Thunderbird and it puts me at the
bottom and I usually go back to the top to respond with it as well. It
ticks me off I have to search for the response at the bottom of several
pages of previous message. I try to remove extraneous stuff when making
a reply but don't always remember when making a quick one.
So I vote "I don't care."

Actually, we're not in disagreement. I'd be ok with giving you one vote
for every posting you've ever done to the list last year. What I was
more concerned about is the general level of interest polls get. If
there are 1800 members on this list, and only 20 people vote, then I
don't see that as a valid poll.
